We are absolutely delighted to report that our 2025 entry in the ‘T for Twyford’ Scarecrow Trail – The ‘Tin Man’ came third for Bridge House.

This was the third renewal of the Scarecrow Trail, an initiative jointly organised by the Polehampton Infant and Junior Schools PTA and The Colleton School PTA that saw many properties around Twyford village transformed as part of a wonderfully creative trail of extraordinary scarecrows that were much enjoyed by all. 

A map available to purchase from outlets around the village helped visitors to navigate the trail and we were delighted so many people enjoyed our fabulous design, created by Senior Activities Coordinator, Julie and residents. Visitors were encouraged to submit votes for their favourite scarecrow, (especially when they stopped at Bridge House).

We love to get involved in the local community and this family-friendly event was great fun, we are already thinking about how we can up our game for next year.
